Dr. Shanna Spina is a highly skilled and experienced general dentist at Morris Dental Solutions in Buffalo Grove, IL. Dr. Spina graduated from Smith College in Northampton, MA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature and went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
She then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. During her one-year residency, she had the opportunity to rotate through several departments, including oral surgery, anesthesia, and family medicine, while also treating patients in the in-hospital clinic.
Originally from Upstate NY, Dr. Spina has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and now calls Illinois her home. At the beginning of her career, she practiced in Buffalo, NY, for several years before moving to Lexington, Kentucky, with her husband. During her two years in Lexington, she worked for the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry treating patients in an adult private practice as well as the division of pediatric dentistry. Dr.Spina moved to the Chicago area in 1999 and has been practicing dentistry in the area since.
