I am a Prosthodontist at Morris Dental Solutions in Buffalo Grove, IL. I have been practicing dentistry and prosthodontics for 30 years. After my undergraduate studies at Indiana University, my professional journey began with the completion of my Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Later, I earned a certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and returned to practice in Buffalo Grove shortly after that.
As an educator, I have held the position of Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Graduate Education at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and was a former Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. I have lectured nationally and internationally on dental implants, implant-supported prostheses, and restorative dentistry to small groups and large society meetings.
I have also authored or co-authored several articles in scientific literature related to dental implants and restorative dentistry, with my most recent contributions appearing in a chapter of an oral surgery textbook. Additionally, I serve on the education advisory boards for several leading dental manufacturers and am the education director for Dental CE Solutions, LLC.
Memberships
I am a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and am a past president of the Illinois Section. I am also a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, Chicago Academy of Dental Research, American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and Chicago Dental Society (CDS).
Specialization
I am passionate about reconstructing the dentition with dental implant restoration. Whether it is a short span restoration, treating cosmetic areas such as anterior teeth and full arch restorations, I will do my best to ensure the best possible outcome. I specialize in treating complex patients and revising or repairing existing restorations that have complications.
My practice offers a variety of treatments ranging from preventive and restorative dentistry, including veneers and dental bonding, to dental implant restorations and fixed prosthodontics. I use the latest biomaterials and technology to deliver optimal results. Our treatment plans are carefully constructed with a treatment optimized to fit the patient’s desires, lifestyle habits, and financial means.

Personal Interests
For 16 years, I served as a member of the Board of Fire Commissioners for the Long Grove Fire Protection District. It was an honor and privilege to serve with this amazing organization. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Shelley, and our two children, Taylor and Austin. We love the outdoors, hiking, and anything that involves being on or near the water. I am an avid scuba diver and have had some fantastic adventures with my family underwater. Shelley and I started diving just after we were married, and having Taylor and Austin as my dive buddies is truly amazing. I have been sailing, boating, and water skiing since I was ten, and I continue to enjoy boating and water sports today.
